Rolls-Royce Rolls Out More Random Special Edition Models

Rolls-Royce might hold the record for the having the most random special edition models out there.

A total of nine Wraith “Inspired by British Music” cars will be created to celebrate the legacy of some of British music’s most revered rock and vocal artists. The British automaker unveiled the first four at the Sanderson Hotel in Fitzroia, London, joined by the artists who helped created them. Those artists include The Who frontman Roger Daltrey CBE, Sir Ray Davies of The Kinks, Giles Martin, son of songwriter and producer Sir George Martin, who is a world-renowned producer and songwriter in his own right.

Each of the special Wraith units features unique design touches that illustrate and celebrate the careers of a British rock and pop legend. Each one will be sold later this year, with Rolls-Royce donating a portion of the value to charities selected by each artist.

The upcoming special Wraiths that have not yet been unveiled will involve collaborations with Dame Shirley Bassey, Francis Rossi OBE of Status Quo and Ronnie Wood.
