Lamborghini is running its new SUV on the Nuburgring and spy photographers were there to catch the action.

The SUV can be seen blasting through the curves of the legendary race track, clearly evident by how far the Urus is leaning through corners. Considering this will be Lamborghini, it is still expected to be an impressive performance machine.

The Urus will reportedly use the MSB platform found underneath the new Porsche Panamera while power will come from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 making around 650 horsepower. The V10 found in the Huracan is also rumored to join the lineup after the Urus launches, while a plug-in hybrid version has been confirmed as an eventual option.

During its first full year of production, while is expected to be 2018, Lambo is planning to build 1,000 Urus SUVs. By 2019, production will be ramped up to 3,500 a year and could balloon further if demand is high.

Pricing has yet to be revealed, though we do know that the Urus will cost less than $200,000.
