The high-end luxury sedan segment is getting competitive.

It may seem a bit early for the BMW 7 Series to already be getting a refresh, but considering the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been updated and Audi is rolling out its new A8, BMW has to do something to keep up with the competition. On the outside, it appears the changes will be modest, with new headlights and graphics for the tail lights, along with new front and rear bumpers. Based on the camouflage, expect the iconic kidney grilles to be tweaked a bit as well.

Expect to see plenty of changes inside the cabin, as the flagship sedan will get upgraded with the latest high-tech features. There’s a possibility BMW will introduce some semi-autonomous driving features, like Audi has with its new A8.
