Even Porsche Has a Car Subscription Service Now
Porsche today has announced the launch of its new app-based car subscription service, Porsche Passport.
Porsche Passport follows in the footsteps of other premium automakers that have rolled out a subscription service, like Volvo, for example. The service allows users to pay a monthly flat rate to gain access to a variety of Porsche vehicles, which are ordered through the app and then delivered to a location of their request. Porsche Passport will first be launched in Porsche North America’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia before it’s rolled out to other markets.

Porsche Passport will be offered in two levels. The entry-level service, referred to as “Launch”, will cost $2,000 monthly plus a start-up charge of $500. That will gain users access to vehicles like the 718 Boxster and Cayman S, Cayenne and Macan S. The second tier, called “Accelerate”, will cost $3,000 plus the start-up charge and will include the 911 Carrera S, Panamera 4S, Macan GTS and Cayenne S E-Hybrid.
“Our Strategy 2025 vision is to be the most aspirational brand in a new era of mobility and consumer expectations,” said Porsche North America CEO Klaus Zellmer. “Catering to customers’ desire to experience our sports cars in new ways is a part of our core strategy. With Porsche Passport, we now offer our customers a simple and flexible driving solution at their fingertips.”
Porsche Passport will launch in metro Atlanta on November 1st.
