Clarkson and May Tap Their Inner American in Latest Grand Tour Teaser
In the latest teaser for The Grand Tour, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond take some advice from a viewer.
That advice is for the trio to look a bit more “American.” By that, they mean getting rid of the poor wardrobe, bad hair and knackered teeth to appear a bit less British. Far from experts on wardrobe, hair and makeup, the boys turn to The Grand Tour’s makeup crew to give them a uniquely American makeover.

For their appearance overhaul, Clarkson and May receive a fake spray tan, teeth whitening, wigs and what appear to be some 1980s-era suits. Hammond, on the other hand, remains unchanged. If you didn’t know, Hammond is the butt of a running joke between the three that he’s not actually British, but American due to his tastes in cars, wardrobe choices and on-camera personality.
