2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Spied With Updated Fascia
The 2019 Jeep Cherokee is set to receive a new 2.0-liter turbo engine and a slight styling redesign, and that will include the rugged Trailhawk model variant.
Spy photographers recently caught a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk testing with its mildly updated front fascia, new taillights and revised rear bumper on display. It appears as though the Cherokee will lose the squinty headlamps of the current model, ditching them and the second set of lamps mounted lower down in favor of more traditional LED units. The taillights now have a larger clear section and are joined by what appears to be a mildly restyled rear bumper.

We recently came across proof that the Cherokee will receive the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in the new Jeep Wrangler JL, which makes 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. We also hear the 3.2-liter V6 model will get a start-stop system and some other refinements to improve fuel economy, while the 2.4-liter four-cylinder will soldier on as a low-cost option. Expect further refinements to FCA’s nine-speed automatic transmission as well.
We’re expecting the facelifted 2019 Jeep Cherokee to make its debut at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January
