McLaren Special Operations Gives the 570S A Motorsport Makeover
The McLaren 570S MSO X has made its debut – offering a motorsports-inspired version of the mid-engine supercar to a select number of customers.
The 570S MSO X was commissioned by US retailer McLaren Newport Beach and is designed to mirror the exterior appearance of the 570S GT4 race car. As such, it features a 570S GT4-inspired rear wing, a fully functional ‘goose neck’ carbon roof vent, front dive planes, a GT4-style hood with air intakes and an MSO Titanium Super Sports Exhaust. Other special add-ons include bare carbon fiber bodywork, a unique rear bumper with weight-saving cutouts and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.

Inside, the MSO X is set apart from standard 570S vehicles by its carbon bucket seats, naked carbon dash and central tunnel, 6-point racing harnesses, rear harness mount bar and standard McLaren Track Telemetr system. There’s even a special cubby hole with a protective carbon bulkhead for stowing a race helmet.
Just 10 McLaren 570S MSO X cars will be built, each featuring exterior paintwork inspired by the McLaren F1 GTRs that took to Europe’s racetracks in the 1990s. All cars have already been sold and delivered, so if you wanted in on this exclusive program, you’re late to the party. You could always bug McLaren to get in on that BP23 three-seat hypercar program, though.
