McLaren has teamed up with its Canadian distributor, Pfaff Automotive Partners, to create a special 570S Spider that celebrates the automaker’s history in Canada.

Called the McLaren 570S Spider Canada Commission, the special sports car features unique design elements that pay tribute to McLaren’s Canadian history. The exterior body is finished in Silica White, contrasted by the trim tinted in red carbon fiber. There’s also a white accent stripe that can be found on the lower sills, along with subtle white Canadian flags replacing the 570S script. Another Canada-inspired touch are the Canadian Maple Leaf accents on the rear of the vehicle, which contrast the 10-spoke wheels in Stealth finish.

The special edition 570S Spider is also outfitted with the Carbon Fiber Exterior Pack and other MSO Defined carbon fiber accents.

The cabin boasts a black leather and Alcantara interior, highlighted by a red Alcantara roof liner, red Alcantara steering wheel with a white “12-o’clock mark,” and subtle maple leaf accents. As a limited production model, there is naturally a plaque inside that identifies each car as one of five units.

No performance upgrades are done, as the 570S Spider Canada Commission continues to be powered by the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine offering 562 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque.

Those interested in getting their hands on one will have to act quickly. Pricing starts from $353,206 CAD before freight, PDI, and taxes, and orders can be placed immediately. Three of the units will be available for purchase through McLaren Toronto, while McLaren Vancouver and McLaren Montreal will have one unit a piece.
