If you want to drive one of Volvo’s new Polestar Engineered S60s, you’ll have to be ready to sign up quickly tomorrow, as the brand is only bringing 20 to the US.

Offered exclusively through the brand’s Care by Volvo subscription service, it will cost you $1,100 per month, with order books opening tomorrow, June 28, at 12:00 noon, eastern time.

In context, an S60 T6 AWD Momentum subscription costs $775/month and the S60 T6 AWD R-Design will cost $850/month.

“The new S60 T8 Polestar Engineered is an electrified car that does what you want it to,” said Henrik Green, senior vice president of research and development at Volvo Cars upon the package’s announcement. “All components have been fine-tuned to work together, delivering a responsive and exciting driver’s car.”

The Polestar Engineered T8 does get a 15 hp kick over a standard T8, as well as Ohlins Suspension, gold Brembo brakes, a Polestar Engineered strut brace, and more.

The S60 will be built at Volvo’s brand new South Carolina plant, but the Polestar Engineered package will be available on other 60 Series Volvos, not made in the US.

The V60 wagon will presumably get the same treatment as the S60 sedan but, intriguingly, the XC60 SUV will also get the Polestar Engineered treatment even though the last generation XC60 had no Polestar option.
