The 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans will go green this Saturday.

It’s not always easy to watch or follow a 24 hour endurance race, so we here at AutoGuide are going to make it as easy as possible for you to keep up with Le Mans this year. Options for legal streams are limited, but there’s still a number of ways you can tune in.

By far the easiest way to follow Le Mans is on Discovery Velocity. The cable channel is carrying Le Mans from start to finish this year. All you need to do is tune into the automotive-focused channel at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday morning, put on a pot of coffee and watch as some of the world’s best take on the grueling Circuit de la Sarthe.

If you don’t have cable, things get a little bit harder. Motor Trend on Demand will carry the race broadcast, but the service costs $4.99 per month. If you haven’t already signed up for the service, a two-week free trial is available, so this is probably the ideal way to watch for most US-based race fans.

The World Endurance Championship also has a subscription-based online stream that is reasonably priced at $12, but the app will be geo-blocked in the US and Canada for Le Mans. If you’re savvy enough to set up a VPN you can get around the block, but for most folks, that’s a bit too much trouble – and understandably so.

If neither of those options sound appealing, you can follow the race by listening to Radio Le Mans and following the live timing online. The folks at Radio Le Mans know their racing and the service is free, so if you just want to have some Le Mans-themed background noise as you go about your day, this is an easy route to take.

If you’re a bit confused by the various Le Mans classes, which this year consist of LMP1, LMP2, GTE Pro and GTE Am, then WeatherTech’s helpful Spotter’s Guide will prove to be an important resource. It clearly communicates what cars are in each class and also shows which drivers are in which car. You can download a high-res version of the guide by clicking here.

The 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET, or 2:30 p.m. local time in France, on Saturday, June 16th.

Best of luck staying awake for all 24 hours, race fans!
