Ford is recalling 1.46 million Ford Focuses produced between 2012 and 2018 for a defect in the gas tank that could lead to stalling.

A Dutch automotive site reports that an electrified Ford Focus RS could be on the way. 

Given the recent introduction of a new Expedition, EcoSport, refreshed Edge, and reborn Ranger, it’s easy to forget Ford still sells small cars.

Ford is sticking all kinds of EcoBoost engines into its compact cars, but this one isn’t the hairy, rally-inspired Focus RS you’ve heard all about, and it’s certainly not the tail-happy Focus ST that lights up the track.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is launching an investigation into alleged faulty door latches on 2012 and 2013 Ford Focus sedans and hatchbacks.
