A 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S formerly owned by British singer-songwriter Rod Stewart will be sold at RM Sotheby’s London auction in September.

When we were at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show Mazda revealed a redesigned CX-5 crossover with a sleek new look and the promise of a new engine option in the US.

Just about every supercar ever made has to thank the Lamborghini Miura for doing it all first. Now may be the perfect time for it, as the mid-engined pioneer celebrates its 50th birthday.

The MINI coupes may have stolen the accolades in 1969’s The Italian Job, but there’s no doubt the coolest scene was the opening sequence following a Miura zipping through the alps.

Lamborghini has restored an icon from its past, the first-ever Miura SV, to celebrate the car’s 50th birthday. 

Make no mistake, this IS as much of a bucket-list as it is a dream list of cars. I’ve yet to drive many of these sublime examples of motoring, but if I was ever given the opportunity, I’d jump at it,  potentially re-scheduling a birthday party, religious holiday or anniversary to get a chance behind one of these vehicles. If (or until) these opportunities arise, I’ll have to just dream.

As excitement for the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance grows in the run up to the August 14-15 weekend, more and more desirable cars are popping up for the event and the auctions held the same weekend. One of them is a stunning 1971 Lamborghini Miura S (similar to the car shown here), which will form part of Gooding & Company’s annual auction at Pebble Beach.
