Lamborghini Recreates Italian Job Opening Scene With These Awesome Photos

The MINI coupes may have stolen the accolades in 1969’s The Italian Job, but there’s no doubt the coolest scene was the opening sequence following a Miura zipping through the alps.

To celebrate the classic flick, Lamborghini sent two Miura examples to the exact same locations the movie was shot 47 years ago to recreate that iconic scene. They also met up with a number of current V12-powered Lamborghini cars, driven by owners from the brand’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
