These vehicles make-up about 7 percent of the market in Brazil. Fiat, which is the largest volume brand there, is now going to offer a sports version of its Strada pick-up truck called the Sporting.

With performance specs like 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph, it is hard to imagine anyone not be tempted to take this 650-hp, Murcielago-derived supercar on a drive and play with its fighter jet inspired instrumentation. However, an owner in Dubai, U.A.E. has done just that. He mustn’t have been crazy about his new car – or maybe he was just crazy, because his unused Reventon is listed on sale at a used exotic car dealership.

The Veyron is quite a phenomenal car, but before it, there was another Bugatti that was appearing on the cover of car magazines all over the world. It was called the EB110, and it was one of the fastest and most advanced cars of the 1990s.

The government of Canada is auctioning off a Lamborghini Countach, with bids starting at the low price of $58,000. The vehicle was forfeited to the Canada Revenue Agency (the Canadian IRS) with only 54,000 miles on the clock.

Maserati showed off a new variant of the Quattroporte GTS at the Sydney Motor Show, labeled the Quattroporte MC Sport Line.

While the MC moniker is normally reserved for cars like the MC12 supercar and the MC Stradale, the Quattroporte MC Sport Line is a mostly cosmetic upgrade with new exterior and interior fittings.

Carbon fiber accents on the inside of the cabin, as well as new sill plates feature prominently, and unique alloy wheels round out the rest of the package. As you can imagine, it will cost megabucks.

Pagani’s tradition of accepting commissions for custom made Zonda supercars doesn’t look like it’s stopping any time soon, and their latest creation, the Zonda 750, is either a cruel practical joke, or the machinations of an eccentric rich guy whose aesthetic sensibilities have gone off the deep end.

Maserati is set to debut the most hardcore variant of their GranTurismo Coupe, known as the MC Stradale. With a 20 horsepower boost and some revised aerodynamics, the MC Stradale will fill the role of a Maserati version of Ferrari’s Scuderia variants, without stepping on the hoovers of the Prancing Horse.

Maserati hasn’t really released too many details ahead of the car’s Paris Auto Show debut, but you can check out the press release and photos below.

Ferrari is quietly recalling 1,248 of its 458 Italia supercars due to a fire hazard that has seen multiple well publicized incidents of the 458 Italia catching on fire.

The latest in a long line of douchebags writing off exotic cars is one gentleman who apparently took delivery of a Ferrari 458 Italia at Ferrari’s Maranello factory, only to write it off 24 hours later.

The video features the predictable burnouts and revving-really-high-in-a-low-gear type of behavior prone to 17 year old Honda drivers, but then cuts to video of the 458 French kissing a pole. No footage of the actual accident is shown, perhaps to spare the driver further embarrassment…or because it was staged?

A New York Times article reporting on Fiat’s push to “impose American-style standards” at an Alfa Romeo plant in Southern Italy, where workers workers will have to *gasp* work more hours and cut back on absences. One irate employee told the Times that“… too much work is going to kill our workers”, prompting nods of agreement from UAW management types across North America.

Talk about being at the right place at the right time. On the A114 highway near Foggia, Italy, a truck carrying 2 million or so Euros (that’s about $2.5 million) overturned and spilled out its contents. And by contents, we mean coins in the form of 1 or 2 Euros – and yes, that’s a whole lot of coins.

10,000 cars is a minuscule number for most car makers. It’s thought that most major car makers (think The Big 3 or Toyota) can pump out close to that many in a day. For a specialist supercar maker, 10,000 cars is a massive amount. If any supercar was going to do it, it would be the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Spy photographers have caught the new Honda Civic undergoing testing in Italy. Having already been ordered back to the drawing board by Honda’s CEO, the new Civic is set to arrive in early 2012, at which point the current car will already be long in the tooth.
