Jeep Offers $4.5K Xtreme 35 Tire Package For Two-Door Wrangler

Jeep will offer a new Xtreme 35 Tire Package for the two-door Wrangler Willys and Rubicon. Initially introduced in 2021 for four-door models, it adds a “best-in-class breakover angle of 32.4 degrees” and huge 35-inch off-road tires. The $4,495 package feels directly in competition with Ford’s $8,160 Sasquatch package for its similarly priced Bronco. Put a Jeep Wrangler Willys 2-door side-by-side with a 2-door Bronco Badlands, and the two are within a few thousand dollars before options.

More specifically, the Xtreme 35 package adds 315/70R17C (35-in) BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires and a few other choice upgrades. Jeep says it also fits the Wrangler with 17-inch beadlock capable wheels, a new 4.56:1 axle ratio, and a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with retuned shocks to fit it all. Interestingly, the package is only available for the 2.0-liter/8-speed automatic engine and transmission combination, which rules out the available V6/6-speed manual. It also theoretically bumps the price. Jeep charges an extra $4,500 for the engine and transmission pairing. This brings the price up by almost exactly double, making it more than $800 costlier than the Bronco’s Sasquatch package. Customers can order the package now for Rubicon models, but Willys buyers will have to wait until “later this quarter.” Production is set for March at Jeep’s Toledo Assembly Plant.
