New commercial division debuts at Work Truck Week.

Ram on Tuesday announced the creation of the Ram Professional division. The commercial division will provide "full-service customer mobility and value solutions," and will debut tomorrow at the 2024 National Truck and Equipment (NTEA) Work Truck Week in Indianapolis.

Ram Professional is promising the best value proposition and a low total cost of ownership across its lineup, which will include the recently announced Ram Promaster EV (pictured) as well as the 1500 Ramcharger and 1500 REV. Existing models like the gas-powered Promaster and the Ram Heavy Duty and Chassis Cab models will also be available.

The new company will debut a range of products and programs tailored to commercial use. The Ram BusinessLink dealer network will offer increased fleet-minded maintenance contracts plus 24-hour roadside assistance. Enhanced upfitting will be available right from the dealers themselves, which will be offering financing of up to 100 percent of the cost and commercial lines of credit through Stellantis Financial.

Fleet managers will be able to take advantage of the Ram Connect system, which provides real-time date through the Mobilisights data platform. Ram Connect also offers numerous services, including tailored navigation and security solutions.

Ram Professional will roll out additional services throughout the year. The Stellantis Free2Move charging ecosystem will offer hardware, software, and services to take full advantage of the Promaster EV, 1500 Ramcharger, and 1500 REV. Free2Move will also offer vehicle sharing, rental, and subscription models at a future date.

“With Ram Professional, our commercial vehicle customers will benefit from a simplified and all-encompassing business solution with products and services that feature best-in-class performance, capability, advanced technology and value to best fit their business needs,” said Ken Kayser, Vice President, Ram Professional. “We know our customers depend on us day-in and day-out, and Ram Professional is committed to delivering the best commercial vehicle lineup and serving our customers with the most important tools of their trade.”
