Apple’s iPad has certainly become a huge success and now every company in the world has jumped on the bandwagon to reach out to as many potential consumers as possible. Bentley is one of those companies, releasing an iPad app for their new 2011 Bentley Continental GT.

The app features plenty of high-res photos of the 2011 Bentley Continental GT, with the ability to zoom in and out in order to admire the new Continental GT’s body lines. And of course, all the images are easily sharable through the iPad with a simple push of your finger.

Even though the app centers around the new Continental GT, users can also check out the new flagship Mulsanne and learn a little bit more on the history of Bentley. Tons of multimedia has been packed in a quick and easily downloadable app – get to it, we know you have a few minutes to kill.

PRESS RELEASE

Bentley’s just-launched 2011 Continental GT is proving to be one of the big talking points at this year’s Paris Motor Show. But now iPad owners can get their own private VIP tickets (without having to leave the home or office) and a first glimpse of this distinctively styled, high performance British GT courtesy of a new free iPad app – http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/bentley-pure-bentley/id393106504.

The Continental GT’s sharp, muscular and contemporary styling is captured by this bespoke iPad app with both portrait and landscape images formatted to optimum screen resolutions.

An extensive and exclusive selection of ‘on location’ photography, as well as a range of zoomable super-high quality studio shots, bring the car’s dramatic styling lines to life for iPad users. The images are downloadable (or can be shared with friends) with just one simple click.

A unique range of Continental GT driving footage and behind-the-scenes multimedia movies from Bentley’s styling studios, test track and special ‘insider’ views from the factory floor are also being offered.

But it’s not just the new Continental GT that’s on show. There’s also the opportunity to take a closer look at the Mulsanne, Bentley’s new luxury flagship, as well as catching a flying glimpse of the company’s extreme 204mph (329km/h) supercar – the Continental Supersports.

In addition, users can take a longer and more leisurely drive through the Bentley story. The app will guide you through the company’s long and victorious association with racing at Le Mans, offer a detailed introduction to the unique skills of the craftsmen and women who fashion cars like the Mulsanne as well as the vast array of classic monochrome images from the past.
