Panzani Design Redefines Ugly With Jaguar S-Type Vintage GT

You probably thought Jaguar‘s S-Type couldn’t get any uglier. Well, unfortunately you’re wrong. The “interesting” minds over at Panzani Design has overhauled the S-Type to a whole new level of head-scratching styling, and we’re hard pressed to find something that might rival this in the ugly category.

Named the S-Type Vintage GT by Panzani Design, there’s nothing vintage about this Jaguar at all. The gaudy widebody is far from proportional with the rest of the factory body lines while the front bumper, hood and rear diffuser are completely out of place on the sedan. The LED daytime lights seem like an afterthought, while the rear looks as it belongs on a current-generation Lotus Elise.

Panzani Design was also quick to show off its double-centered exhaust, but if it sounds anything like the rest of the package looks, we’re thankful to not have to hear any sound clips. The only saving grace to the entire package is perhaps the interior, which features a sport steering wheel, carbon fiber throughout and a nicely done double-diamond stitched pattern.

This is just a perfect example of a widebody gone wrong and what happens when you clearly don’t understand your target market. Can you honestly see any Jaguar S-Type owner jumping on this?

I'd say the designers know they're target market to a "T' - and it isn't current S-Type owners. I'd say this comes closer to a rat rod "T" for those those who don't want to have their feet stuck in the mud of antiquity. The clue is in the name "vintage GT"....this is the King Rat
