2013 Chevy Sonic Recalled for Faulty Diagnostic Reports
Chevy is recalling about 4,716 Sonic compacts, built between May 29, 2012, and August 29, 2012 for a faulty diagnostic reporting system.
In the case of the turn signals not operating, the body control module (BCM) will not detect the fault, leaving the driver unaware that it is occurring. Because of this, the Sonic fails to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”
This is the second Sonic recall recently, the other being for a bad washer fluid hose.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the vehicles BCM and key Fob free of charge. The recall is scheduled to begin on October 3, 2012.

If this is that 2nd recall on this vehicle I dont know how comfortable I would feel being inside one of them nevermind driving it.
I drive a 2013 sonic LT. Had little trouble with it, transmission sensor was screwy. All and all its a fun car to drive.
