Earlier this month, Ford unleashed its EcoBoost-powered race car on the Nürburgring, setting the 11th fastest lap time ever recorded at the famous race track.

Now, the American automaker is considering a limited production run of the Formula Ford car, which features a 1.0-liter EcoBoost powerplant with 202-hp. To put it all into perspective just how fast it is despite its small three-cylinder engine, it lapped the the Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 22 seconds, besting the times of the Lamborghini Aventador and Pagani Zonda.

At a recent ‘Go Further’ event in Amsterdam, a senior Ford executive spoke on how the automaker is looking into producing a limited number of SVA-approved, road-going Formula Fords that could be priced under $150,000.
