Based on the top of the line Beetle Sport model, Volkswagen now offers the R-Line appearance package, which kicks up the small cars style both inside and out.

The R-Line is exclusively an appearance package for the vehicle, and adds features to enhance the sporty look of the car such as a new front bumper with larger air intakes and chrome surrounds. R-Line Beetle equipped vehicles also receive a rear diffuser, new body side panels, a choice between 18-inch alloy wheels or 19-inch alloy wheels painted black or white, all topped off with R-Line badging.

The exterior package can be had by itself, but the upgraded R-Line interior can only be had when the exterior appearance package is present.

Inside enhancements include sport seats, front head restraints with R-Line stitching, leather trimmed steering wheel and gear shift leather with grey stitching. Decorative inlays finished in “Dark Vanadium” finish off the sport look.

The Beetle sport is available with three engines, either a 1.4-liter TSI making 157 hp, 2.0-liter TSI that makes 197 hp, or a 2.0 TDI that puts out 138 hp.
