This week on AutoGuide, the most popular car review was of the brand-new 2013 Honda Civic.

New for 2013, the Civic gets improved standard equipment such as Bluetooth, steering wheel audio controls, an i-MID display screen and a back-up camera. Along with design and interior upgrades the Civic receives better sound deadening, an improved ride and more responsive steering.

Coming in under the Civic is a car known as “Godzilla,” the Nissan GT-R. Still one of the best performance bargains on the market, the GT-R uses a twin-turbo 3.8L V6 that makes 545 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque, all for a starting MSRP of $96,820.

Third on the most read list is the redesigned 2013 Toyota Avalon. Fuel economy improves significantly for 2013 with a 21/31 mpg (city/highway) rating, with power coming from a 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque.

Ringing in at fourth is the Chevrolet Cruze Eco. Fuel economy with a 6-speed manual is rated at 28-mpg city and 42-mpg highway thanks to custom aerodynamics, 100 lbs of weight loss and active grille shutters.

Just clinging onto the list in fifth is the new 2013 Honda Accord review. A new direct-injection 4-cylinder makes 185 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque for the Accord, while fuel economy comes in at 27/36 mpg.
