Debuting its new naming structure, Infiniti just unveiled its Q50 sport sedan during the 2013 Detroit Auto Show this week.

Nissan’s luxury marque is offering the next generation of its G sport sedans with the choice of a gas-only powertrain with a 3.7-liter V6 just like the current G37. The other option is a hybrid drivetrain with a 3.5-liter V6. Customers will be able to choose between front- and all-wheel drive, but it sounds like the maker is doing away with its manual transmission.

Infiniti says the hybrid Q50 will make 354 hp – a handful shy of the M35h which was names the world’s fastest hybrid last year.

The car is scheduled to go on sale this Summer and while pricing is unavailable for now, the numbers should be available soon.
