AMG Chassis Engineer Heading to BMW M Division

AMG has lost its second highly-rated engineer within a month, as Arnd Meyer will be heading to BMW’s M division.

Meyer, who was in charge for all the chassis engineering on recent AMG models, including the SLS AMG Black Series, will now be in charge of chassis, powertrain, electrics, and electronics development at BMW’s M division.

Recently, Fritz Eichler left AMG and joined Volkswagen to take charge of gasoline engine development. Eichler was AMG’s former head of powertrain development. Similar to Eichler, Meyer probably won’t start his new job right away as a result of a contractual agreement with AMG.
