Audi just announced pricing for its newest open air model: the RS 5 Cabriolet, which will hit dealerships in April, 2013 with a starting price of $77,900.

Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 that produces 450 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The engine is hooked up to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which helps to propel the car from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

The RS 5 Cabriolet offers climate controlled seats, neck-level heating vents, black or lunar silver Fine Nappa leather or a combo of leather and Alcantara depending on the trim. The soft top can open in 15 seconds, and close in 17 seconds, at speeds up to 30 mph.
