BMW is previewing performance accessories it will offer to people who buy the new 4 Series when it reaches showrooms.

As you might already know, BMW will split the current 3 Series into two nameplates for the 2014 model year. The change will see BMW’s coupe and convertible versions move to the new name while the sedan will remain a 3 Series. As has been tradition, the maker will also offer a series of performance parts through its M division, which will upgrade the non-M cars.

Now, the German car maker is previewing the parts it will offer to those buyers. They include a mechanical limited-slip differential, lowered suspension, improved brakes and a new exhaust system.

The brand is also offering exterior and interior cosmetic enhancements that preview some of what to expect from the 2014 M4. They include black kidney grilles along with new fender vents and M Performance decals.

Cabin upgrades include Alcantara and carbon fiber trim pieces, sport seats and steel pedals. Pricing in the U.S. is expected soon.
