Audi Out-of-Warranty Customers Get Surprise Ride in R8

Audi Canada has launched a new program called Audi Summer Health Check, offering its owners a complimentary 30-point vehicle inspection and roadside assistance for six months at no extra charge. And the automaker has enlisted the help of its 500-plus horsepower R8 to spread the word.

The program, which runs from July 15 to September 15, offered some of its customers a surprise when they came in for a Health Check appointment. Instead of a boring, mundane shuttle to take them back to their home or office, Audi Canada used an R8. The automaker has released a video documenting some of its customers and the looks on their faces when a regular courtesy shuttle didn’t come to pick them up from the dealership.
