Honda is remembering legendary race car driver Ayrton Senna with a little bit of clever technology.

Using telemetry data from Senna lapping the track 24 years ago, the company reconstructed Senna driving at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan while setting his qualifying lap. That lap set a new record.

A group of spectators gathered to watch a series of lights show his path around the track while a long network of speakers play a coordinated track to mimic what it would sound like to hear Senna driving.
