James Glickenhaus' New Road Car Called SCG 003

James Glickenhaus just revealed more details on his next one-off supercar.

In case you forgot, Glickenhaus is the man behind the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina and its race car brother: the P4/5 Competizione. Now, the well-heeled car fanatic syas his twin-turbo V6-powered, lightweight sports car will be called the 003 and will be the first from his own brand: Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG).

In a blog post, Glickenhaus opines that the supercar world is going too far into light weight and ludicrous power figures. Instead, he want’s to step back to a time when cars weren’t as powerful and could be raced ore aggressively.

Images of the car don’t exist yet, but Glickenhaus said drawings of the car will be shared once he has them.

The car will try to approach a similar weight ratio to his Ferrari 330 P3/4 (pictured) and will integrate three wings into the car’s body similarly to a Porsche 959. Targets for the car include roughly 500 horsepower and a curb weight of 1,600 lbs.
