The upcoming blockbuster, Ender’s Game, will feature a futuristic Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro, that shows off the German automaker’s vision of a future automotive world.

Created specifically for the film, the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro marks the first time the German automaker has unveiled a purely virtual car in a feature film. Audi collaborated with director Gavin Hood and the production team to digitally and seamlessly integrate the futuristic vehicle into the film.

“Designing the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro was comparable to tailoring a made-to-measure suit,” said Frank Rimili, Chief Designer for the film project. “We adapted it to the requirements of the world in ‘Ender’s Game’ and, at the same time, ensured that we preserved our brand values. Ultimately, we were able to project our design philosophy perfectly onto the fictional world of the movie.”

The vehicle will appear in key scenes of the movie, which starts Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfield, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, and Harrison Ford. Ender’s Game hits theaters in America on November 1, 2013.
