2014 North American Car of the Year Short List Released

The short list of candidates for the 2014 North American Car of the Year Award was just announced.

Each year, a 50-person jury composed of automotive journalists from both the U.S. and Canada vote on which vehicles will be recognized as the North American Car of the year and North American Truck/Utility of the Year. The list started with 28 candidates for Car of the Year and 18 for the tuck award.

Now there are 12 on each short list, which precedes the list of finalists.
