Nissan will unveil the next generation 2015 Murano at the upcoming 2014 New York Auto Show, alongside an unknown concept car.

At this year’s Detroit Auto Show, the Japanese car maker revealed the Resonance concept (seen above), meant to foreshadow what we can expect in the new Murano. That concept got its power from a 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor, with power routed through a CVT.

Powertrain options are still unknown, though the hybrid system will likely find its way into production. Styling will be heavily revised, though the Murano will keep its current proportions, and still have a maximum seating capacity of five.

An unknown concept car will also be on display at the Nissan booth in New York.
