Fighting for the luxury car category are the Bentley Flying Spur, Mercedes S-Class and the Range Rover Sport, while the the Corvette Stingray, Ferrari 458 Speciale and the Porche 911 GT3 are competing in the sports car category.

In the green car category, the Audi A3 Sportback g-tron is taking on the BMW i3 and the Volkswagen XL1. Finally, the world car design of the year has been narrowed down, with the Mazda3 taking on the BMW i3 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

To choose the world car of the year awards, a panel of 69 automotive journalists from around the world cast ballots. The winners will be announced at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.

Meh, I was hoping for CTS for design. At this point, I'll bet on the 4 series, S-Class, Corvette, XL1, and C-Class.
