2015 Dodge Dart Earns NHTSA Five-Star Safety Rating

The 2015 Dodge Dart has earned the highest safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The sedan earned five stars in the front and side crash tests while getting four stars in the rollover crash test, giving it an overall five-star safety rating. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has not yet rated the 2015 Dodge Dart.

Standard safety features on the 2015 Dodge Dart include 10 airbags, electronic stability control, antilock brakes and traction control. Available as options are blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection. The Dodge Dart comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 160 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque and is also available with a 1.4-liter turbo engine with 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. There is also a 2.4-liter available on the SXT, Limited and GT models with 184 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque.
