Audi S3 Might Get Manual Transmission in America

There could be especially good news for American fans of Audi’s smallest sedan: the performance variants might make it here with a manual.

Enthusiast forum Fourtitude reports that Audi of America head Scott Keogh hinted to them during an interview that a third pedal is in the cards for this market. Keogh said the company is looking closely at the possibility along with the idea of selling the hotter RS3 here as well.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it would be a big deal if Audi decided to sell a version of the S3 with a stick here. Remember, the only gearbox on tap at the moment is a six-speed dual-clutch unit.
