Watch the Mercedes AMG GT Get Sideways

An all-new car sports car on a hot fresh track, this MercedesAMG GT video is one to watch.

The German automaker has showcased its range-topping GT S model at the Circuit of the Americas track, having no problems getting the luxury coupe sideways and then some. As the first official video of the AMG GT, we get our first look at how the car performs with its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as well as how aggressive it sounds.

On the standard GT model, the sports car will feature 462 hp while the GT S packs a real punch with 510 hp. The powerplant is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission while the car weighs in at a respectable 3,395 lbs.
