Range Rover Long Wheelbase Spy Photos Hint at High-Performance SVR Model

Is Jaguar Land Rover‘s Special Vehicle Operations division preparing a high-performance Range Rover LWB model?

The British automaker has been spied testing a Range Rover long-wheelbase model sporting a quad-exhaust setup, hinting that the company is squeezing its 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine under the hood packing 550 hp.

The Range Rover Sport SVR is billed as the most powerful Land Rover ever and is capable of going 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds. Naturally the Range Rover LWB will be a tad slower but considering the growth in the performance SUV market, a Range Rover LWB SVR would be an enticing proposition for shoppers.
