Lexus is taking a tongue-in-cheek approach to advertising the CT200h.

Lexus teamed up with Funny or Die! to create a new video comparing its CT200h to the BMW i3, showing off some of the benefits hybrids have over electric vehicles.

The video showcases two groups of people preparing for a trip to Las Vegas and focuses on the biggest con of electric vehicles: charge time. Naturally with the Lexus CT200h being equipped with a gasoline engine to accompany the electric motor, the CT200h simply has to get gas in order to continue its journey.

Then again, the video ignores the fact that BMW’s i3 can also be paired with an optional gasoline engine that functions as a range extender.
