Mazda has joined in on the fun with its own Vision Gran Turismo called the LM55.

Paying homage to the Japanese automaker’s success at the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Mazda LM55 is inspired by the company’s Kodo design language, with a stance that is reminiscent of the famous 787 B that claimed the overall victory at the race. Featuring a monocoque chassis and plenty of carbon fiber components, the LM55 is finished in a striking atmospheric-white paint. Though Mazda didn’t reveal powertrain specifications on its LM55, the company did say it “offers the epitome of power, efficiency and durability and the result is an exceptional power to weight ratio exceeding that of most cars in its class.”
