2016 Honda Civic Type R Spied

The Honda Civic Type R is getting ready to make a grand entrance at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

It appears that someone was able to catch photos of the Civic Type R as it underwent preparations at a detailing shop for its debut in Switzerland early next week. By now, there have been numerous teasers, spy photos and concepts of the Civic Type R so it’s no surprise that the production model closely resembles everything that has been shown so far.

Recently, the Japanese automaker confirmed that the Civic Type R would have a 168-mph top speed, massive front brakes, 19-inch wheels and will be powered by a turbocharged VTEC engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
