2016 Volvo XC90 Priced From $49,895

Pricing on Volvo’s newest SUV model has been announced for the U.S. through an online configurator.

The 2016 Volvo XC90 will be priced from $49,895 including destination for the T6 AWD Momentum base model. Powered by a 2.0-liter supercharged and turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the XC90 cranks 316 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque while seating seven.

The T6 AWD R-Design model will start at $53,895 and adds sportier equipment such as R-Design lower front spoiler, front grille, sport pedals, silk-metal window trim, silk-metal mirror covers, perforated leather gearshift knob, 20-inch wheels and more.

The range-topping (for now) XC90 T6 Inscription will be $55,495 and adds luxurious accessories including LED headlights, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, illuminated tread plates, matte silver front grille, chrome accents and various Inscription badges along with Nappa Leather interior.

Packages for the XC90 include the Vision Package ($1,600), Climate Package ($1,050), Climate Package with Graphical Head-up Display ($1,950) and the Convenience Package ($1,800).

A high-performance Polestar model along with a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 400 hp will both join the XC90 range in the future.
