Jaguar is preparing to show off the new XF in New York City.
Set to make its official debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, we will be given an early glimpse of the car on March 24 when it performs a daring tightrope walk. Jaguar will send the XF down two 34 mm steel high wires above water to highlight the car’s new lightweight construction.

According to Jaguar’s director of design, Ian Callum, the new XF is “elegant, handsome and with proportions that imbue a great sense of integrity.” The company will host an event on March 24 in London that will be streamed online with British stuntman Jim Dowdall driving the car along a pair of 1.3-inch diameter wires to demonstrate how lightweight it is.
