The next generation BMW 7-Series has leaked before its official reveal at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Caught by BimmerToday, this image shows off the entire side profile of BMW’s new flagship sedan. Apparently BMW is giving some high-profile customers a private viewing of the car ahead of its debut, which is where the photo was taken. As we can see in this new image, the 7-Series hasn’t taken a radical change in terms of design, but still looks elegant and luxurious. This model has a generous helping of chrome on it, but that’s likely trim specific.

Its design may be classic but there are all kinds of new, high tech features to be found in the car. Expect the large BMW to sport laser headlight technology. Riding on a new platform, the new 7-Series will also use lightweight construction, offer autonomous systems and a gesture control system.

Under the hood of base models will likely be the 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that was recently announced in the 340i. Eight and 12-cylinder models will also be available as well.
