Audi is preparing a small crossover called the Q1 and our spy photographers have caught it in action.

This leads us to believe that we’re looking at Audi’s upcoming baby SUV, the Q1, which will be officially unveiled in 2016. While the Europe only A1 compact utilizes the same platform as the Volkswagen Polo, the upcoming Audi Q1 will use the MQB platform that underpins the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf.

While nothing has been officially announced about the Audi Q1 coming the North America, we do know that Audi is planning to expand its crossover lineup.
