AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers don’t always just catch camouflaged prototypes being tested.

Every now and then, they catch something extremely rare on camera and in this case, it’s four of the rarest cars in the world. A trio of 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss sports cars were seen in a group along with a Mercedes McLaren Roadster 722 S. The Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss was limited to just 75 units while the McLaren Roadster saw 150 units produced.

When those exotics were first offered on the market, the SLR Stirling Moss ran a cool 750,000 euros ($850,000) while the McLaren Roadster was priced around half-a-million. That means all four cars combined in these photographs sold for over $3 million when they were first purchased. Considering they are so rare, there is no doubt that these cars would fetch way more than their original sitcker prices at auction.
