The 2017 Chevy Equinox has already shed a little bit of camouflage, giving us a better look at the front grille.

Spy photographers caught the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox testing for the first time earlier this week and now we have a new set of photos showing the crossover without camo on its nose.

For the next-generation, Chevy is opting to downsize the Equinox, which will be built on the same platform as the Buick Envision. Although the redesigned Equinox was expected to debut sooner, it appears that General Motors is giving time for the Buick Envision to establish itself in the marketplace first, since it’ll be arriving in dealerships late next year.

Taking a closer look at the Equinox’s new headlights, they appear to be influenced by the new Cruze, while the horizontal slats found on the grille seems consistent with what’s found on the Traverse crossover.

Our spy photographers also caught video footage of the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox testing, which you can watch below.
