Taking styling cues from the new flagship Genesis sedan, there’s no word on what powertrains will be offered in the vehicle. Likely options include those from the new 2016 Tucson, such as a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder making around 175 hp.

Look for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra to officially debut at the LA Auto Show this November.

the 2015 looks way better. this looks like every other bland small sedan. looks like a ford focus , chevy cruz, or a frumpy nissan sentra. 2 steps backwards. good for me, I will try and get a deal on a 2016 left over. they can keep this on dealer lots for 90 days.

Completely agree. The sketches they released looked promising, but my 2013 looks much better. Excellent point about the Ford Focus comparison, especially that front end.

I would not be caught dead in a asian car.I laugh everytime I see a 4 cylinder with dual exhaust.
