The McLaren 570S lineup is going to expand in the coming years.

Making its debut earlier this year in March, the McLaren 570S will follow in the footsteps of the 650S by adding a convertible variant to the lineup. But first, the British automaker will produce a 570S GT model will additional storage space, a more luxurious interior and other minor styling changes. The 570S GT will be the brand’s more spacious and practical model, designed with long-distance touring in mind.

Both of the new McLaren 570S variants will be powered by the same 3.8-liter V8 making 562 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Similar to the 650S Spider, the McLaren 570S Spider will incorporate a folding hardtop roof and will weigh slightly more than the coupe variant. The company however, has a good track record of having similar performance between their coupe and convertible models, so expect the Spider to go 0-62 in 3.2 seconds and have a top speed of 205 mph.

It is believed that the McLaren 570S GT will go on sale next year and the 570S Spider will come a year after that in 2017.
