The fourth-generation 2016 Toyota Prius has finally arrived.

After reportedly being delayed because its styling wasn’t exciting enough, the 2016 Toyota Prius was unveiled last night at a special event in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although Toyota opted not to release specifications for the next-generation hybrid, it did say that the 2016 Toyota Prius is expected to be at least 10 percent more efficient than the outgoing model when it goes on sale next year. The Japanese automaker also revealed that its engineers are developing an Eco model for even greater fuel efficiency.

The model was built new from the ground up on Toyota’s New Global Architecture and will be 2.4 inches longer and 0.6 inches wider than its predecessor. I use to love Toyotas, but now they continue to come up with the ugliest cars on the road, except for the Corolla, Camry and Avalon that are borderline. Not trying to be picky, but Toyota should let US or Euro designers design their cars for the USA.
