2016 Toyota Prius C Gets Color Injection With Special Edition Model

The 2016 Toyota Prius c is getting injected with a bit of color with a special edition model.

Called the Persona Series Special Edition, the the limited edition Prius c model will only see 1,500 units produced and comes exclusively in black with a choice of two unique color accents: Electric Lime and Cherry Pearl. The contrast color accents are found on the lower front grille trim, beneath the headlights and on the trim beneath the side windows. They also cover the outside power mirrors and interior rear-view mirror shell. In addition to the colored accents, buyers also receive 15-inch black alloy wheels and a custom “Persona Series” badge.

The Persona Series Special Edition model is based on the Prius c Two grade, which is equipped with fabric-trimmed two-tone seats, six-way adjustable driver’s seat, 60/40 split fold-down rear seats, cruise control, a cargo area cover and engine immobilizer.

As the budget Toyota Prius model, the Prius c is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain with a total system output of 99 horsepower. It returns 53 mpg in the city and 46 mpg on the highway.
